Applications for the Social Entrepreneur Awards closed on 23rd February 2009. The short listing process will now begin to decide which applicants will go through to the final.

The judging panel will then choose two winners who will each receive one of the two awards:

• Up to £5 million of funding or a donation of up to £500,000.
• Up to £1 million of funding or a donation of up to £100,000.

The two winners will also receive mentoring from one of the UK's leading social entrepreneurs as well as publicity with the Sunday Times and networking opportunities. Doesn't your organisation deserve this kind of support? Yes, we think so too.
