The Reward
There are two rewards available. Please be clear which element of the reward you are applying for. Please note the minimum funding which can be applied for is £500,000 and the minimum donation is £50,000.
- An offer of funding of up to £5 million* from Bank of Scotland Corporate. This will be entirely free of interest for 3 years and free of arrangement fees*.
OR
A donation of up to £500,000.
- An offer of funding of up to £1 million* from Bank of Scotland Corporate. This will be entirely free of interest for 3 years and free of arrangement fees*.
OR
A donation of up to £100,000.
The winner from each of the two categories will also win:
- A unique opportunity for mentoring by one of the UK’s best known social entrepreneurs.
- The title of "Bank of Scotland Corporate Social Entrepreneur Award Winner".
- Networking opportunities with top UK social entrepreneurs at our finalists event.
- Valuable publicity and coverage of your win by The Sunday Times and exposure to local media.
The amount and terms of funding are to be agreed between Bank of Scotland Corporate and the finalists. Legal advice up to a value of £25,000 will be provided for each finalist to arrange the terms of funding, with a law firm selected by the bank (but acting solely for the finalist). Costs above this limit (and disbursements) or where the finalist chooses to use an alternative law firm will be at the finalist's cost.
